Location : Dartmoor National Park, Devon

Accommodation - Comfortable, basic accommodation in a camping barn.
(converted barn with very basic amenities - sleeping on the floor on a mat with sleeping bag.)
Toilets, showers, kitchen and wood burning stove.

Walks – a reasonable level of fitness is required for the weekends.
- may be up to 8 miles and on uneven ground with various gradients.

*Walks will vary according to seasons, weather conditions
- and the needs and requirements of the group*

Food – Delicious, fresh and home cooked. Local organic and wild food will be used as much as possible
- according to seasonal availability.

Cost - £140, all inclusive.


Outline of a typical weekend :

Friday evening - gathering at 5pm for a warm welcome by the wood burning stove.
Enjoying a hearty meal of fresh, seasonal, local organic produce.
Group introductions and outline for the weekend.

Saturday - early rise.
Gentle stretching .
Satisfying breakfast.
All day walking - exploring nature and self - creating art in the landscape.
Picnic lunch.
Return to basecamp for rest time.
Evening Feast :
- wild "bush tucker" (according to seasonal availability) and organic produce.
Storytelling around the fire.

Sunday - start again with gentle stretching.
Breakfast.
A short walk - stopping for lunch on the trail.
Wyldheart ceremony.
Back to camp.
Tea and close - departing mid-afternoon.
